Borealis is a versatile five-piece Scottish band performing throughout the year as
an ideal musical accompaniment to any special occasion: be it a drinks reception,
anniversary, wedding breakfast, dinner party, corporate event, charity fundraiser,
festival, club or special interest society.
Their music encompasses a whole variety of songs ranging through light classical, jazz, popular song, show tunes and a cappella vocal harmony...
...perfect as an easy listening ‘recital’ based evening or as a musical backdrop to your event.
Borealis also performs the songs of Robert Burns, arranged and played in a unique, contemporary fusion of jazz, classical, folk and blues: ideal as music entertainment for a Burns Supper or Burns themed event.
Borealis is based in Ayrshire, Scotland.
The video footage on this website is mostly taken from an evening at Oswald Hall Auchincruive (above) in May 2010. Here you see Borealis in a ‘recital’ format ... a ‘listening’ event as such. Classy after dinner entertainment for an anniversary/birthday party when the guests feel like relaxing with some first class entertainment.
